Summer Venture Projects

Summer Venture Projects are a great opportunity to make an eternal difference in the lives of high school students and have your own life radically changed as well. Work 24/7 with students in a fast paced four-week project. Or work a part-time job earning money for college during the day and spend the evenings and weekends getting training and experience in reaching out to teenagers on a nine-week project. Either way, a Summer Venture Project helps you make the most of your summer.

Philly Venture : : May 30-July 7, 2008 : : Cost: $2,250

Philly Venture is a unique blend of high school and college ministry in the historic city of Philadelphia. You will have the opportunity to invest a month of your summer to full-time ministry and training. Learn how to lead a Bible Study, speak to students in public high school and middle school settings, receive training in evangelism, be personally discipled by one of our staff members, and enjoy one of the most historically significant cities in America.

Virginia Beach Project : : May 31-August 7, 2008 : : Cost: $2,800

Do you love teenagers? If so, this project could be for you! You’ll have the opportunity to take the Good News of God’s love and forgiveness to high school students in this resort town. Experience what it’s like to reach out to students through Campus Crusade’s high school ministry, Student Venture. The project is part of the larger Campus Crusade for Christ project at the same location and is designed for students who are considering youth ministry after they graduate from college.

Education Majors Project : : June 4-14, 2008 : : Cost: $525

This project in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is designed to help you learn how to use your future position as a teacher to impact students for Christ. You'll learn what is possible, what is legal, and what is realistic for ministry as a teacher. We'll introduce you to the high school ministry of Campus Crusade, Student Venture, and connect you with resources that will help you maximize your impact with students. We'll equip you to engage with students effectively and you'll get the opportunity to do that through the Student Venture summer conference.

Orlando Project : : 2008 : : Cost: $TBD

Have all the fun, challenge, training, discipleship, and evangelism of other summer projects, plus you get to use your college major to serve at the Student Venture National Headquarters. You will receive valuable internship experience to develop you professionally at the same time you grow personally and spiritually. You can possibly earn college credit for internship requirements.
