Did you know that in the past 10 years, God has transformed over 40,000 lives through Student Venture in Kenya? During the summer of 2012, SV Kenya is celebrating these 10 years of ministry and you can serve on one of five teams that will be going! You will have opportunities to share Christ in school assembly programs as well as one-on-one conversations. Be prepared to experience a spiritual harvest and learn incredible lessons of faith as you trust the Lord to work through you to encourage African students in their walks with God and see Him continue to revive this country! You and your team will start your ministry in Nairobi and then travel to another city (Thika, Nakuru, Eldoret or Kisumu) or a neighboring country (Uganda or Tanzania)!

This country in East Asia, with 103 million middle school and high school students, has almost no youth ministry. After several days of touring and seeing one of the wonders of the world, you will be part of teaching Conversational English and developing deep relationships with Asian high school students. It is very likely these teenagers have never heard the name of Jesus, have never seen nor owned a Bible, and have been taught all their lives that God does not exist. Although this country is closed to traditional Christian influence, it is one of the most responsive regions of the world to the truth. It is believed that Christians of this country will be the ones who will have the greatest impact on other countries closed to the gospel. Come and be part of seeing God change lives and have an eternal impact in East Asia and beyond.
