help ACCELERATE our MISSION

We have four priority strategies where you can partner with us to reach more young people:

1. Venture Corps

The teenage world can be compared to a field ripe for harvest, but with few workers to gather the crop. Students on every campus in America are ready to trust Christ, if only someone would take the time to talk with them. The number one priority of Student Venture is enlisting an army of young staff and interns who will help bring teenagers to Christ. Our Venture Corps strategy connects the time and talent of young adults with the spiritual needs of high school and junior high students.

The first phase of the strategy calls for "filling the pipeline" with potential workers.

1. Exposure to Manpower Pools. Our audiences includes the college ministry of Campus Crusade, other college ministries and Christian colleges.

2. Experience Through Entry-Level Opportunities. Ministry tracks for first-hand involvement through summer internships, conferences and international projects.

3. Enlist Interns and Staff. The long-term fruit of the Venture Corps strategy is the commitment of men and women to reach students vocationally.

4. Equip Workers for the Harvest. Extensive training and supervision for all workers.

2. Student Survival Kits

The Beyond Extreme Student Survival Kit is a unique tool designed for mass distribution to high school and junior high students, giving them the opportunity to hear the gospel in a relevant media format. It is a conversation starter for Christian students and opens doors for them to share their faith. The kit contains a music CD, Bible, state-of-the-art video and other practical resources to help introduce them to Christ.

Student Survival Kits are used to reach out to a particular group on campus, an entire school, or can even give every student in an entire city or state the chance to hear about Christ. Just recently, every high school and middle school student in Hawaii was offered a kit; 70,000 students in all received one. Students pass out the kits on campus before and after school or during any non-instructional time under their first amendment right to free speech.

Your gift at this time of $800 will help give 100 teenagers an opportunity to hear the gospel. A gift of $8,000 will help reach 1000 or more students.

3. The Coaching Center

In every community there are people who would reach teenagers at their local schools if they just had the know-how and resources to do so. The Coaching Center is a rapid-response, telephone and Internet-based coaching stratey that helps surface local adults and students, and equips them to reach the campuses. The Coaching Center is uniquely able to find good contacts through targeted radio, magazine and church promotional efforts.

The Coaching Center priorities include:

1. New Campus Adoptions. Identify and provide coaching for local leaders who want to establish new campus ministries.

2. Resource and Serve. Equip leaders with tools and strategies to reach the campus through E-mail, Internet assistance and CD-ROM.

3. "The Coaching Minute." Expand partnerships for this daily radio feature currently airing on more than 650 different radio outlets nationwide.

4. GoCampus.org. Promote and develop this Website to resource students, youth pastors and adults to reach teenagers

4. Reaching the Least Reached, Most Influential

It is our conviction that the most influential cities and people in America remain unreached. As a result they have contined to influence culture apart from the truth of Jesus Christ through media, music, fashion and commerce. Thousands of unreached teenagers live in the cities that shape our pop culture, and many of them live in the homes where their parents participate in the shaping of America. Topping the list are strategic areas of New York City and Los Angeles. In the days ahead we are taking the gospel to the least reached, most influential cities and families in America.

Unreached areas are often difficult areas, requiring a strong commitment, wisdom and strategy and mature workers. Our commitment involves using all four of Student Venture's ministry methods: Field Teams, The Coaching Center and Venture Media & Venture Web.

1. Relocate Student Venture Field Teams. Penetrating the key schools in NYC and LA with qualified leadership is the first critical step.

2. Distribute Student Survival Kits. Survival Kits sow the truth of the gospel and open doors for campus ministry.

3. Utilize The Coaching Center. The Coaching Center is a rapid-response, telephone and internet-based strategy that helps surface local adults and students, and equips them to reach campuses.
