Student Venture’s Getaway is a six-day mission experience
that gathers students from high schools around the
country to have fun, forge new friendships, step out
in faith, fuel a passion for Christ, and be trained to reach your campus.
Spend the week growing in your walk with God, exploring biblical truths and learning how to talk to your friends about your faith.
:: Who Can Attend
This conference is open to all high school students and youth leaders, including graduating seniors and incoming ninth graders. Our Student Venture teams bring students and volunteers to these locations, and youth groups and individuals are invited to join us.
:: 2012 Getaway Theme
Our 2012 Getaway theme will be "new ..." based on 2 Corinthians 5:16-21. We will
be using the theme and passage throughout the five days:
| new: creation (verses 16-17)
| new: identity (verse 18)
| new: relationships (verse 19)
| new: mission (verse 20)
| new: righteousness (verse 21)

Life of Adventure offers awesome opportunities for high school students to explore, traverse, and dive into some of God's most beautiful creation in the summer. Each trip is lead by two or more adult leaders.
Experience backcountry hiking and camping, day hikes, daily devotionals, personal and group sharing, and learn how to share your faith, how to effectively read and study the Bible, leadership training, and much more.
